Love is - an intense feeling of deep affection! My breath was slow in the moment. I wasn't breathing in air, yet my lungs were so full. My heart, it was beating so fast as if it were busting out of my chest. The blood in my veins was warm and flowing like a river. I couldn't feel the ground beneath my feet, and my whole body felt as though it were floating. I was overwhelmed with a feeling, a feeling unlike any other feeling I had ever felt. I could feel it all, a feeling as though I was being transformed. My mind was open, I felt like everything surrounding me had stopped. It was just you and I, anything else was non-existent.

I remember this day very clearly. The day I met, you. You were like a breath of fresh air, a sip of water on a hot day, the sun that shines so bright in the sky. Your approach was so subtle, yet it was persistent. You respect me, mostly my responses. Our conversations were so intriguing, so clear. Love, do you remember? You asked me what the true definition of Love was. I couldn't help but laugh, I had never been asked that. "Love, an intense feeling of deep affection," "That's the meaning of love," was your response. I don't think I ever really knew what the meaning was. Then there was you. You showed me the definition of love. Before I never understood, just couldn't grasp this. You always think you know what love is, until someone opens you up, not to respond, but to listen and learn. That's what you gave me.

It brings me to the day that I felt it, true raw love! The day that has stayed with me and molded every thought of you and love. The day we had our first kiss was like an ordinary day. We went to eat right after work, which is where we met. We ate at the huddle house because it was all that was open so late at night. This was the day that changed me and the way I looked at love.

When it comes to the ground I can't feel it. I feel like I'm floating so high in the sky that i can touch the clouds. The affection of you and I is electric! You give me a purpose to live and without you, I am frozen. Frozen from your love, I'm imploding. Indulging in you leaves me floating. Lift me up I can't walk, my knees are weak. I feel like I can't breath, you revive me. Giving me all of your affection and it's exploding, all over me. You're like a drug I can't stop taking. Give me more, give me more, I want more.

Have you ever heard of the saying, I felt like I was floating? I felt like my whole body was floating like I was as light as a feather, my heart skipped a million and one beats and then I was revived by you! It was not a feeling I had ever felt before, a feeling I had always wanted but never got. Every decision I made after that day revolved around having that feeling again, just to see if it was real and not just imaginary. Still, I kept feeling it. It became like a drug that I just couldn't stop taking, an addiction and you were the key holder.
